I grew up in a family with six siblings. We were very poor and living in remote, rural Arkansas. So remote that they had to pump daylight to us. 
 

I shook the dirt off my feet and married my childhood sweetheart at 17. I finished high school as a young mother. I went on to get a BS in psychology, despite the "nay sayers". 
For years, I put my music aspersions on hold to be the best mother I could be. 
 

In 2012, I was offered an opportunity to revisit my pursuit as a singer/songwriter and released my first CD, "GIANT". One of my most popular songs on the "Giant" CD is "I'm Still Here". It depicts a very difficult time and the choices made for the good fight. A popular song from my 2nd CD, "SECOND CHANCES", is "Second Chances". It's about a couple who didn't end up together due to the girl's choice, yet remained in love their entire lives, always just outside of togetherness. 
 

I love to write these songs. I love it because it is a productive way to cathart' from the soul. Music is my medium to understand the things I can not change and gives me the courage to truly "let it go".
